Facility Information

What is the duration of addiction treatment programs?
The duration of addiction treatment programs can vary depending on the individual's needs and circumstances but commonly range from 30 to 90 days.
What is the cost of addiction treatment programs?
The cost of addiction treatment programs can vary depending on the type and length of treatment, but many facilities offer financial assistance and payment plans to help make treatment more affordable. Treatment is an investment in your future, and we believe everyone who needs it should be able to access it. We can help verify your insurance coverage at an AAC facility in just a few minutes, and determine the best way to pay for care.
Will my health insurance cover the cost of addiction treatment?
Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), treatment for substance use disorder (SUD) is considered an essential benefit. This means that many health insurance plans cover some, if not all, of the cost of addiction treatment, but coverage may vary depending on the provider and the type of treatment received.
What types of therapies are used in addiction treatment?
Therapies used in addiction treatment can include various behavioral therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and more.
Specialization
  • Residential Treatment

Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • Family Program

Research shows that the odds of successful, sustained recovery from addiction are far higher when family members and loved ones are involved in treatment. Drug and alcohol addiction often have genetic roots, whether related to substance abuse, mental illness, or both. Family dynamics also play a role and, often, family members are the first to realize a loved one has developed an addiction. Also, it’s important for family members to understand and embrace the lifestyle changes that are required to sustain recovery.
  • Medical Detoxification

Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
  • Aftercare Support

Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Our facility offers aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by planning and making arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.

I had no idea what to expect going to a treatment center. I have absolutely NOTHING but wonderful things to say about River Oaks. You get out what you put in!!! And I got A LOT out of my time there. Each class during the day you have a different therapist... and they all have their own personalities, ways to teaching and it is incredible. I looked forward to each day I was there. I have to give a few of my favorites a note of excellence!! The kitchen does an amazing job! and even take requests! My only advice is to pack all black!!! The laundry team does their best with what they are dealing with ... the quantity of laundry. River Oaks helped me change me and my life. I am still working with the facility on CIOP and it is fantastic!! I am not sure what their interviewing process is but they are doing something right!!

When I arrived at River Oaks Rehab, I had no idea what to expect. I was so angry, sad, hurt, and by no means clean and sober. I did not have a problem I said, I'm just here because the Judge said I needed to be. Then I met a man in the housekeeping department at the facility, and throughout my time there he made it up to a TA. (treatment advocate) ! And he deserved it for sure. He was a genuine gentleman, he took time to get to know us. Never looked down on us or acted like he was better than any one of us. When we needed something, we all knew that if we found him, He would take care of us. If he was ever having a bad day you could never tell! The next thing I knew, I was in a group, and the therapist leading it said a few things that caught my attention. I thought she was talking about me! She was teaching us about how we react to our emotions because we are so used to numbing those emotions so that we didnt have to deal with them. That right there did it. Now I still carry with me everyday the notebook that I took notes in from River Oaks. I am APPLYING those notes and skills in my daily life. The program does work if you work it. Just try. I'm glad I did.

I was a client at River Oaks for a little over 2 months. I could never put into words just exactly how grateful I was to find this place. Nurse Olga is the nurse who I related to and with, more than any other medical staff member. She was so easy to talk to, she was quick and efficient. She always made me feel comfortable when it was my time for medications. She knew mostly everyone by name. When my blood pressure was sky high at med time, she gave me the medication I needed and even followed up throughout the night, about how my blood pressure was. She was so quiet as not to disturb my roommate during the process too. Once I was on the right medications I was able to grow and learn exactly what I needed when I needed! Almost all my groups were beneficial and taught me what I might need to stay clean and sober. I learned how to change my thought process and manage my feelings positively not the way I was used to before River Oaks. If you or someone you know struggles with addiction and or mental issues, this is the place to try. Please take your sobriety seriously, you are worth it! Thank You River Oaks Treatment Center for giving me a better chance at life.

Listen up, Listen up! Anyone trying to get clean and or sober, I have some news for you. River Oaks Treatment Center saved my life... Truly. No joke. I had the sweetest and most helpful Therapist EVER, Ms. Olivia! She was so so helpful to me. She taught me some very important lessons that I will use for the rest of my life. Well, she also taught great group lessons as well. She had the most approachable demeanor and calmed me down on so many occasions. She was so easy for me to talk to and share how I was honestly feeling inside. She didn't make me ever feel like I was "less than" her or anyone else for that matter. Olivia would advocate for us without a doubt and got things done for me quickly. She really cares when it came to helping not only me as a client but everyone that needed someone. Olivia even took suggestions for group topics and helped process things in a way that everyone could understand and relate to. When I was at River Oaks, I put in the effort to learn everything I could from everyone there. All the staff were caring and wanted nothing but the very best for each and every one of us. Please call them or go and give them a try. Their program will work if you want it.

This is my first time in a treatment center, and hopefully my last. If you are anything like I was, and your life depends on it, then this is the place to come. It has not been easy, but the staff, doctors, and techs have made the process easier on me. Christina has been a Blessing to me through groups and sessions. I have taken more notes with her than I ever did in school! This treatment center has been a life changer for me!
