I was a client at avenues for 6 months. I found it to be professionally run by caring people. Right now I have 1 year clean with more to go.my counselor was crummy but all the others were good, don't worry he has since left.the living arrangements were fine and the food they provided was sufficient. You cooked for yourself. When the young guys cooked you got hot dogs and burgers .when the older ones cooked you ate salmon, pork shoulders, pork chops etc. It was hit or miss but never bad. Plus you could make what you wanted. The patient techs were good and helpful. One in particular pat would literally go to the ends of the earth to help you. Gotta love the guys genuiness and caring demeanor. The housing manager devin was really good also. Sadly I've been in quite a few rehabs and I would rate avenues an 8 out of 10. I would recommend it to family and friends. I learned alot there which helps me now.you can only get better coming here. Jamie lorber
My husband, medical doctor at some point of his life after severe stress became alcoholic. The happy life suddenly ended. I never think he may be so nasty and aggressive. Once, being under influence, he even physically assaulted me. Then he lost his medical license. I was unable to convince him for treatment, but I brought him to Dr.'s center. It was magic!!! After 30 minutes of conversation with this doctor, he called me and said: \"I scheduled treatment session at the Philadelphia Addiction Center.\" That day everything changed. Three years passed. My husband got his professional license back and happy family is happy again.
