this is my second time at farnum. I came back here because I learned a lot the first time. this facility has helped me greatly. I decided to come here for a second time once I started to mess up because it worked so well for me the first time. the way they teach you to look at yourself is very beneficial for me .the work we do here is mainly a process of learning from yourself. its not about the twelve steps. which I like a lot. there is a twelve step meeting every night. but the majority of the work is learning how to have proper positive thoughts.by learning about my thought patterns I have been able to change a lot of my actions. I really enjoy working on myself by learning from myself. this is a great facility. I enjoy the councilors. and the building is nice. the food is really good also. over all I think this is a great place for anyone who wants to better them selves. I have enjoyed my recovery here.
Green Mountain is a place where people go to get well. The staff and clinical team help guide broken individuals through there process of early recovery. They truly care about the people and the outcome. The best part of being a part of this team is seeing transformations happen on a daily basis. As a person in Recovery myself, I know how vital it is to feel like you can relate to people to are guiding you through the fear in the beginning. GMTC has a very unique and special peer to peer support woven throughout the program. This holds depth and weight for the person struggling. I wouldnt be sober today if I didnt have someone in Recovery guiding me through and pushing me to walk through the fear that held me captive in addiction.
I walked into process very nervous and scared they were nothing but compassionate and supportive upon my arrival making me feel welcomed and at home over the past few months I’ve have built strong relationships with many people who I can talk to on a daily basis on what’s going on in my life two of the most important people I have met at process are Adam and Chris there a huge reason I am still up here continuing my journey in sober living trying to get better everyday I can’t thank this program enough for what they have done for me.
