Detox Centers in Mesquite, Texas

Located east of Dallas, TX, Mesquite is part of Dallas County. Like cities and towns across the United States, substance misuse and addiction in Mesquite is a growing concern. From January 2021 to January 2022, Mesquite Police made 545 arrests for drug or narcotics violations.¹

Support groups include 12-Step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA). These groups provide a supportive space that allows people in recovery to share stories and receive encouragement.

Mesquite NA meetings are held at 2209 Gus Thomasson Rd. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon, 5:30, and 7:30 p.m.⁹ Meetings are also held Thursday at noon and 7:30 p.m., Fridays at midnight, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.⁹

A traditional 12-Step group meets regularly, is led by its members, and encourages participants to partner with a veteran member to serve as their sponsor. A sponsor can provide individual support and guidance when needed.
