Westport House saved my life!! After bouncing in and out of treatment for the better part of a decade, my family made the decision to have me participate in this sober living program following an inpatient stay in Pennsylvania. I was scared and completely put off by the idea of extended care, but the staff, environment, and camaraderie with housemates quickly changed my mindset. At Westport House I was able to develop and grow as a man and managed to secure my first real job. Upon graduation, I left as a confident, self-assured man in recovery. I can’t express my gratitude to the Westport House enough. I didn’t get my old life back, I got a new, much better life. Thanks to all you guys for helping me become the person I always hoped I could be!
Aware Recovery Care has a diverse group of people that work there as a team, it also has may spinning wheels that all come together to help each client individually. No client is has the same treatment, each client is different, and therefore this program is catered to them, and their families. The Aware program is a 52 week program where we as a team work with the client, and their families, because we know addiction not only effects the client, but the entire house hold. We work around out clients schedule, so they are able to work, and not lose time from their jobs. Also we as a team will help introduce clients, and families to a support system of clean and sober people, so when we do walk away, our clients, and their families have a support system. There is a entire network of people in recovery that people just aren't aware of, not just NA, or AA. Not every client is comfortable with NA, or AA, so we find something for everyone, someone, or something that they connect to, or relate to. There are many paths to recovery, and we explore all paths in order to help our clients, and families. Private pay, and Anthem are paying methods at this time, so we are unable to reach all the people in need of our services. Addiction has touched so many of us, and sometimes people feel as though they are being judged, but at Aware Recovery Care, there is no judgment.
