Forever recovery is really a rehab that is a bit different from other places. They have an open ended program, which means you got to stay as much as you need to finish your program. In my viewpoint this is much better, than if it would be only 30 days, since you really only leave when you and the counselors are sure about that you gonna be ready to face tour life when you leave. There is a huge percentage of people who come out of the rehab and get back to drugs in months or less. I was one of those, so I felt that this was a good option to stay as much as needed, and we don\'t have this pressure that we gonna have to be ready in like 30 days and than out of the door back in life and we have to be perfect and deal with all these emotions and situations. 30 days are way too short, you still have withdrawal issues, and any time you still have these urges to use. So yes the pressure is high and you are already in this horrible state. I think it is really good you can even stay like 60 days in case you need to stay. I stayed 50 days, and it was good, when I got through detox all i was thinking about was to leave cause it was just horrible, and I just didn\'t care about getting clean, i just wanted to get high again, but the nurses helped me through and all the other staff members who were working with us. They really had a hard time with me, I think I was the hardest probably, maybe not but they helped me, they gave me vitamins, and meds when I needed, and so on, so I got through the hard part, I started on the program, which i quite enjoyed cause I could chooses between a few things, you got your usual 12 steps, Cognitive and faith based. I think this is good, cause if you don\'t like one, or don\'t believe in like god or something you can do more traditional paths. Besides the program, group meetings and counseling There was possibilities for group activities and music therapy, not a bad idea by the way. But one thing that i really liked, was that how nice the are was where the center is. It is on a huge land, really calm, you go out take some sun, relax, listen to the little birds, and you just calm down and I loved that. It was so nice to go out like that in the nature. Now that I am back home it is going really good and i am 97 clean. I think its going well. I recommend afr.

I definitely have some good things to say about Serenity Point Recovery. The Serenity Point Recovery program saved my best friend’s life, and being in recovery myself, I know how hard it is to walk away from drug and alcohol addiction. The crazy part is that it was my friend who had tried to help me back when I was an addict, and he ended up getting hooked on his pills in the long run.
My friend James went to Serenity Point Recovery a few months ago. I’ll be brief here and just mention the things about the rehab center that I noticed to be really interesting and different from what most rehab centers were like.
First of all, James got a lot of direct, one on one attention at Serenity Point Recovery. They treated him really well, and he was able to get the help and the care that he needed to really vanquish his addiction and come out the other side winning. He got so much one on one attention, that there were several individual counselors at Serenity Point Recovery that James still talks about and references back to to this day. Secondly, the Serenity Point Recovery applies a multi-modality, open-ended, results-based, evidence-based approach to drug and alcohol addiction treatment. I was really pleased with that and really impressed that the program was so well thought out. It’s rare in today’s day and age to find a rehab center that will provide such a focused and direct approach to addressing drug and alcohol addiction in their clients and in such a unique way too. I was really pleased and really impressed with that. Thirdly, the Serenity Point Recovery used a multitude of different treatment methods, as opposed to only focusing on one or two or maybe three different treatment methods. That was very interesting and very helpful for James. I think it was really important that he go to such a facility.
My hat is off to Serenity Point Recovery. They were able to save my friend’s life when nothing else would work. I give this place five stars!
