Dimitris is a very powerful motivational speaker and I enjoyed his groups. Therapists Tony and Trina were good. I liked the gym, it was really nice and I liked playing volleyball every day that was really fun. The AA meetings at night were helpful because I always go and its the best meeting of the entire day. My recommendation would be to make that group because it can be intimidating going to an AA meetings at home for your first time. I've grown to really enjoy them, my aftercare plan when I leave is AA. The providers here really helped me with my medication. We had a class that went over a lot of educational stuff about medications and I was able to get on a new medicine that helped me. It was great to have all these resources available to me to answer questions about side effects and was able to try out a new medication while I was here in a safe place and not have to worry about daily life situations that could have affected me taking my medication. That was really beneficial to me and I'm happy to see if it depression because I've struggled with it for a while. I did a lot of research to find this place and anything comparable to what you get here was much more expensive, I looked all over the country and did not find a better deal than what you would find here at River Oaks in terms of the care you receive and the facility. I would recommend.
