Ascend Healthcare for Adolescents
I couldn't be more happy with the recovery my son made while at Ascend. Being extremely oppositional and in denial of his poor mental health, I was not sure that he would ever open up and accept treatment and transformation, but about 2.5 weeks in, he did. The result can only be called miraculous. He gained a lot of insight into the roots of his anxiety and depression, and, in his words, "got to know [him]self again." The combination of skills classes, group therapy, individual therapy, animal therapy and family therapy was what he needed. His and my communication has also radically changed for the better, thanks to family therapy and the DBT and other parent classes I took while my son was in residence. I would highly recommend Ascend Healthcare for a comprehensive and highly competent residential program.

They are very informative and answered every question I had, both being at the facility and to do with my aftercare. They’re some of the most personable, gracious people I’ve ever met. They gave me the tools to use moving forward and I met lots of genuine people and had conversations with those people who wanted to listen and were readily willing to help and offer insight and wisdom that will stay with me forever. That particular staff and the month I stayed with them saved my life and for that, I am eternally grateful. People like Krystle, Alex, Stephanie, Diana, Derrick, David, Chelsea, Yvette, Crystal, Alexis, Lupe, Cherise, Tammy and the owners, Arman and Guspar make life seem possible even when you feel like giving up. His House Residential Treatment
His house Merito House was a great treatment is a great place to get sober. The staff is great . One staff member in particular gave me more then I thought I could handle. I loved it tho because he would push me and teach me the ways on how to be and live a sober life. I would like to thank all the guys that was in the house also. Made some great life long friends.
