At River Oaks, we have several different types of outpatient programs designed to meet the individual needs of each patient. Outpatient drug and alcohol rehab programs may be ideal for people who don’t have serious co-occurring disorders that would necessitate 24-hour supervision and for those who either don’t need medical detox or have completed it already.

This place has seriously become family to me. I never thought I could become what I am today until I met everyone that worked here. The facility is absolutely amazing. Very very clean .... always very very clean.... the food is phenomenal thanks to the wonderful cooks. My life was seriously headed straight for death but this team worked a miracle and saved me. The entire staff is great and the way they all truly care as opposed to them just doing the job is extraordinary. I was able to fully hand myself over and trust where I was to help me.

Faith Farm Ministries - Boynton Beach

I am a graduate of this progam, Was on their praise and worship team from 2008-2010.. Did alot of Unrecognized work there.. Overall this program and the staff taught me alot about life.. I was alot younger when I was there and not as mature spiritually and mentally as I am now.. It has been 8 long years since I graduated! I am currently 33 years old, Reflecting back on what they taught me and all thefun, I wish I could\'ve stayed to advance.. But like they teach you in the classes, God has placed a higher calling in my life, but I still minister and share my times at this place with people that Cross my path Daily! I currently live in Texas, and I\'ll tell you what, Houston definitely Needs a place like this... please feel free contact me, I am a fellow alumni member!

Facility has some of the most caring staff available in the state of Florida. Staff is incredible. Some other patients aren't always taking treatment serious, though this isnt really the facility's fault.

Drug and Alcohol Addiction in Seffner, FL

Seffner, Florida, is a suburb of Tampa and is considered one of the best places to live in the state.1 It’s a place that attracts many young professionals as it offers a more rural feel while remaining close to public beaches. 79% of residents here can afford their own homes, which adds to the suburb’s appeal.1

However, the suburb faces an epidemic of opioid use, overdoses, and overdose-related deaths that have increased significantly between 2018 and 2021.2 Additionally, in Seffner, FL, alone, someone visits an emergency room every 2 hours and 15 minutes for non-fatal overdoses specifically from opioid use.2

While opioid use has increased significantly among those with substance use disorders, it’s not the only substance to blame. Cocaine, methamphetamines, and alcohol are also among the most popular illicit substances being used as early as 12 years of age.3 However, the increasing use of opioids is a major concern as the uptick in overdose-related deaths is largely attributed to the powerful synthetic opioid fentanyl.4

Fentanyl has become increasingly popular for mixing with several different illicit substances since it’s cheap, increases the potency of the substance, and extends the amount of the supply.4 Unfortunately, officials in the Tampa Bay area—which include Seffner, FL—say that the synthetic opioid isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, making it that much more important for individuals struggling with opioid use to get proper treatment.4

Seffner, FL Detox and Rehab Availability

The following treatment centers can be found within 25 miles of Seffner, FL:5

  • 46 total facilities
  • 10 facilities offering detox treatment
  • 37 facilities offering outpatient care
  • 16 facilities offering residential (inpatient) care

This is compared to the state of Florida, which, as of 2020, has a total of 712 facilities.6 215 of those facilities offer residential treatment, while 587 of those facilities offer outpatient care.

Seffner, FL Drug and Alcohol Support Groups

If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use, it’s important to know what kind of help is available. In Seffner, FL, you’ll find that there are plenty of support groups associated with AA and NA where you or your loved one can go to receive compassion and build a solid support system that will help them with their struggles.

The times and locations of these support group meetings are subject to change, so it’s a good idea to use the following resources to locate the correct support group as well as stay informed about their meeting schedules:
