I am a graduate of this progam, Was on their praise and worship team from 2008-2010.. Did alot of Unrecognized work there.. Overall this program and the staff taught me alot about life.. I was alot younger when I was there and not as mature spiritually and mentally as I am now.. It has been 8 long years since I graduated! I am currently 33 years old, Reflecting back on what they taught me and all thefun, I wish I could\'ve stayed to advance.. But like they teach you in the classes, God has placed a higher calling in my life, but I still minister and share my times at this place with people that Cross my path Daily! I currently live in Texas, and I\'ll tell you what, Houston definitely Needs a place like this... please feel free contact me, I am a fellow alumni member!
Facility has some of the most caring staff available in the state of Florida. Staff is incredible. Some other patients aren't always taking treatment serious, though this isnt really the facility's fault.

Seffner, Florida, is a suburb of Tampa and is considered one of the best places to live in the state.1 It’s a place that attracts many young professionals as it offers a more rural feel while remaining close to public beaches. 79% of residents here can afford their own homes, which adds to the suburb’s appeal.1
However, the suburb faces an epidemic of opioid use, overdoses, and overdose-related deaths that have increased significantly between 2018 and 2021.2 Additionally, in Seffner, FL, alone, someone visits an emergency room every 2 hours and 15 minutes for non-fatal overdoses specifically from opioid use.2
While opioid use has increased significantly among those with substance use disorders, it’s not the only substance to blame. Cocaine, methamphetamines, and alcohol are also among the most popular illicit substances being used as early as 12 years of age.3 However, the increasing use of opioids is a major concern as the uptick in overdose-related deaths is largely attributed to the powerful synthetic opioid fentanyl.4
Fentanyl has become increasingly popular for mixing with several different illicit substances since it’s cheap, increases the potency of the substance, and extends the amount of the supply.4 Unfortunately, officials in the Tampa Bay area—which include Seffner, FL—say that the synthetic opioid isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, making it that much more important for individuals struggling with opioid use to get proper treatment.4
