GREAT PLACE!!!! Very clean and comfortable, good food, great medical team, very loving and supportive staff and knowledgeable therapist. If you are a loved one is looking for help I would highly recommend Boca Recovery Center!!!
Ive been trying not to eat a lot of carbs here and the kitchen staff has been very knowledgeable of individual wants and needs. Alanna in the kitchen has an infectious laugh and smile. She always knows that I prefer chicken and salad to stay healthy. The kitchen here does it's best to make special accommodations and give options. They had chicken shwarma and vegetarian options too. When we all go out to play volleyball, Alanna comes outside to do a head count to see how many people are out playing and make sure that we each have a plate and dont have to worry about the kitchen shutting down on us or people getting seconds before we even get our first. The recreational activities here are awesome. The volley ball games every day give a real sense of community and you get to meet people and become close. It helps get my mind off of everything for the hour and just have fun. It really teaches me how to have fun in sobriety.
I am a graduate of this progam, Was on their praise and worship team from 2008-2010.. Did alot of Unrecognized work there.. Overall this program and the staff taught me alot about life.. I was alot younger when I was there and not as mature spiritually and mentally as I am now.. It has been 8 long years since I graduated! I am currently 33 years old, Reflecting back on what they taught me and all thefun, I wish I could\'ve stayed to advance.. But like they teach you in the classes, God has placed a higher calling in my life, but I still minister and share my times at this place with people that Cross my path Daily! I currently live in Texas, and I\'ll tell you what, Houston definitely Needs a place like this... please feel free contact me, I am a fellow alumni member!
