Rai (“Ray”) Cornell is a freelance health, psychology, and science writer.
She has worked as a substance abuse and mental health counselor in a drug rehabilitation center and at a community counseling clinic. She has worked with adolescents, adults, and couples on issues including substance abuse, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders.
Rai also developed curriculum for a sexual assault survivors group and worked with a team of counselors to create personalized treatment plans for individual clients.
