The state of North Carolina should investigate and stop funding this useless facility. The staff will provoke you... They get state aid for each person that qualifies and I feel that they do there best to make sure you leave early. This is a money making privately held facility that... is only concerned with profit. There are no classes or meetings on the weekends. NOTHING. Just sit around and wait every minute out until Monday. No weekend visitation or allow anyone to resupply your personal items. Weekdays only and at very tight specific times which makes them almost impossible to comply with. There needs to be a thorough investigation into the facility. With all of the people who need help it is a shame that this facility simply spits them out as quickly as they can make them quit, just to collect another payment from the state for the next poor soul. Its a shame. What a waste. This is my opinion and I will be surprised if it is posted. Actually I\'ll be shocked if it\'s posted.
Official Facility Response:
This review falsely states that ARCA "makes money" off clients. Many of our clients are here through state funding(if they are indigent or cannot afford treatment) However, ARCA is only paid for the actual time the clients are here. ARCA is a 501 c 3 non profit organization. ARCA is CARF Accredited and Licensed by the State. ARCA is audited regularly. ARCA supplies personal items if clients dont have them. ARCA allows personal drop off of items Monday through Friday 9am-4pm.
