As a family member - this was my worst personal experience ever! Do not believe the multiple lies to get you there - Port St. Lucie is nothing but a few basically unkempt houses strewn together. It was described as a resort like atmosphere - NOT! 11 individual people assigned to help - NOT! The employees are not well trained - many are in recovery themselves. RN\'s don\'t distribute medications. Residents have NO privacy. They are given a food allowance of $75 per week & must cook their own food - other residents then steal their food. Due to COVID (they say) there is no family time & no outings of any type. Even phone calls to loved ones are not private. We were not told of the separate detox center (which was FAR better than the rehab). My loved one met with a counselor (the one bright spot in the establishment) 3 times - I received 1 phone call from a clinician in the entire time. Over all my loved one was uncared for and totally unsafe. I don\'t recommend this establishment to anyone. Buyer beware! Untrained people & unsafe conditions.

This place is a absolute joke of a rehab . They make it seem like alot is being done while kids just run off to get High and they accept them back as long as Mommy and daddy’s insurance is good. They have cameras everywhere but not one works so clients are in and out of each other’s places stealing food and bringing girls clients over to male houses and male clients to female houses. The staff at the center thinks they are better than you and make you feel like you are the one doing something wrong when they aren’t going by the schedule which tells you where you are supposed to be at what time. Clients were on time more to groups and sessions than staff. So if you want to go to a rehab where you learn to be more of a parent and be around people who dont care about you while they continue to get high ambrosia treatment center is the spot for you.

I loved my experience here. I felt that all my assignments hit everything that I've been avoiding over the years and helped me more than I thought was possible. The staff cares so much and goes above and beyond.

Ambrosia is a great experience for young adults whom are trying to recover from substance abuse. During my experience, I have encountered genuine care and concern for me and I have witnessed the love and the passion that the employees have here for their jobs. They didn't give up on me when they could have and I am so appreciative of that! They taught me to not give up on myself!
