Learn More About Blue Hills Recovery

Facility Highlights
  • Evidence-based care for substance use and mental disorders
Blue Hills Recovery is situated in a tree-lined neighborhood in Worcester. We are only two blocks away from the shores of Indian Lake and less than half a mile from our beautiful sober living residences. Here you will find compassionate professionals dedicated to helping foster enduring recovery. We offer Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient levels of care for substance use disorders or mental health. As a member of the Harmony Recovery family, we combine the staff-to-patient ratio of a small program with the clinical excellence of a larger one.
  • Safe and Comfortable Recovery Housing
Our trusted partners at Vanderburgh House provide first-rate sober living accommodations for our patients. Residents live in separate, gender-specific homes in a historic Worcester neighborhood less than a half-mile from Blue Hills clinical offices. Vanderburgh House is certified by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences and the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing. Each home has a live-in house manager and Recovery Community Mentor. Residents learn the value of fellowship and friendship. They also benefit from structure and security while they begin their recovery journeys.

Areas of Specialization
  • # 1 Substance Abuse Partial Hospitalization Program in Massachusetts
Blue Hills’ Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers patients intensive day treatment much like an inpatient program, but with the freedom to sleep at home every night. You also have the option to stay at one of our beautiful partner recovery residences just a few blocks away from the center.
  • #1 Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program in Massachusetts
One of our primary objectives is to help clients move towards self-love and leave shame behind. Mental illness is one of the few health problems that can unfortunately have a certain degree of shame associated with it. We treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma and more.

Blue Hills staff is attentive and caring. They really helped me. I didn't think therapy would work for me but I was wrong. This facility helped me and I am grateful.
