Cornerstone of Recovery Young Adult Recovery Program

4726 Airport Hwy, Louisville, Tennessee, 37777
Although there is no known “cure,” a person can establish a long-term, even life-long remission of the disease of chemical dependency. Treatment can establish this recovery by attending to the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of the chemically dependent person. In other words, we believe that treatment of the whole person is critical to successfully addressing the needs of those addicted to alcohol and other drugs of abuse. In order to accomplish this goal, Cornerstone utilizes a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of professionals and paraprofessionals from fields such as addiction medicine, psychology, family therapy, social work, psychiatry, acupuncture, spirituality, activity therapy, and fitness.

Specialization

  • Medical Detoxification

Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
  • Residential Treatment

Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

The staff was so understanding and compassionate. The marketing coordinator spoke with my mom and made her feel so comfortable and safe that she stayed longer than originally anticipated. Which gave her more time to work on herself and learn how to live. This program is really top notch and I highly recommend it. Minimal stress on both sides. They really know what they're doing!!! Good luck ❤❤❤

The pictures are not of the facility. It is a total lie from the moment you step in. The counselors are uneducated and are just former addicts themselves. This is good in ways but just as bad in other way. Some staff take it upon themselves to as they say \"crush you to a bottom\". They seem to feel you have to hit whatever bottom they did. Family counseling is laughable. To sum that up basically get rid of your family and loved ones bc they are a big problem. Anyone can get clean if they want it bad enough but if you need any support stay away from this place!

It was close enough that family could visit on designated days. They told my daughter she was toxic to the others, they ended up kicking her out and taking her to the mission which is in the worst part of Knoxville. She was 23. The reason they kicked her out and told her she was toxic is because she was telling them she was there to come off oxycodone but she still wanted to smoke pot and she stuck to that which is an addict's way of thinking... they should have addressed that way of thinking instead of saying she was toxic.

I would not trust this facility with my teenage child. I suggest other treatment options for teenagers. His withdrawal time was not sufficient and not monitored as I was told it would be. He was denied prescribed medications.
