I have mixed feelings about EAS. As a whole I feel like the program is run fairly well. I’ve been to a couple rehabs before coming here and this was one of the better ones. A few things that I wish would have been made clear before going were: If you have any issues requiring medication (pain/sleep/allergies etc.) past detox they won’t help you out much at all, if you make friends with the opposite sex they will break you up completely real quick, you will (as a client group) maintain the facility, they can/will go through your personal property/room while there if they want, most the “staff” are freshly sober themselves, there is NOT a nurse or doctor on 24 hours (at night you ain’t getting anything), if you live off campus you will NOT have a place to stay during the day (room/bed) like the other clients. It’s not a bad place but I would not recommend going here. Also, the “aftercare” is nothing like they say it is.
