About Elevate Addiction Services

Elevate is a modern and empowering approach to addiction treatment. We don't believe addiction is an incurable disease but can be overcome and put in the past through hard work and dealing with issues. Our program is Non-12 Step (we use SMART Recovery) and we provide skills and tools to our clients so that they can more effectively manage their own lives and experience happiness without the need for drugs or alcohol. See the website for an entire philosophy. They worst facility ever. Food was warm at best. Rooms, we're crowded and cold. Staff was ignorant of patients need. Facility was only interested in collecting patient insurance and not willing to help with any short term insurance. I highly recommend that no one else gets treatment from here.

Elevate saved our son. He had done rehab once before in an upscale place that was like a resort but did nothing but basically detox him and push him out. Elevate worked with us to get insurance and to get him physically there. Once admitted we received a call everyday from Bree while my son was in detox to let us know how he was progressing. Elevate has daily classes that teach self reliance, to change self defeating behavior, and to obtain balance and remain abstinent. Elevate won my son over through the comraderie and dedication of its staff. We could not be more grateful that we found Elevate.

I have mixed feelings about EAS. As a whole I feel like the program is run fairly well. I’ve been to a couple rehabs before coming here and this was one of the better ones. A few things that I wish would have been made clear before going were: If you have any issues requiring medication (pain/sleep/allergies etc.) past detox they won’t help you out much at all, if you make friends with the opposite sex they will break you up completely real quick, you will (as a client group) maintain the facility, they can/will go through your personal property/room while there if they want, most the “staff” are freshly sober themselves, there is NOT a nurse or doctor on 24 hours (at night you ain’t getting anything), if you live off campus you will NOT have a place to stay during the day (room/bed) like the other clients. It’s not a bad place but I would not recommend going here. Also, the “aftercare” is nothing like they say it is.

My visit to elevate Addiction Services was a great experience. The grounds and property are beautiful. The staff is very professional, friendly and nice. The addiction education classes we\'re very educational. The hikes swimming and Crossfit was great for my body and mind. Thank you to elevate staff and counselors for everything I have gained and the tools I need to live clean and sober.

This place is horrible! I didn’t want to go to the facility in Watsonville but because it was closer to home then the one in Tahoe I went. The staff are just some young kids that went through the program and have no formal training period... Detox cabin is filthy and when I was there 12 clients and 3 staff were in a 700 square foot cabin practicing social distancing... what a joke! I happened to get a pinch nerve in my neck while I was there but couldn’t get ibuprofen without a huge effort on my part then only allowed so much per 24 hour period and that depends on who you talked to. My point here is...no one knows what is going on around the place and I was in some serious pain. Also, they had some kind of bug infestation the day I left but you ask the staff about it and it’s all hush hush. AND.. some of the staff hasn’t even heard of some common problems a facility like this could have like BED BUGS but yet reassured me they are protected against them. Again... staff is clueless for the most part. Do not recommend this place at all.
