Footprints Beachside Recovery Center
151 107th Avenue Suite 13, Treasure Island, Florida, 33706
Substance abuse has biological, psychological and social causes, and effective drug and alcohol treatment should attempt to provide a response to each of these areas designed for the individual client. There is no “one size fits all” in effective drug treatment programs; the therapeutic response must be oriented to a client’s specific configuration of needs with a range of “wrap around” drug treatment programs. Many other high-end drug treatment centers are rooted in outdated methods that often fail to keep people drug-free. People with a chronic form of addiction need multi-modal treatment that is individualized and offered continuously or intermittently for as long as they need.
Just treating the substance abuse is not enough. Footprints utilizes unique, proven drug and alcohol treatment methods to treat the factors that underlie addiction and set off relapse. Whether it is past trauma, anxiety, depression, bi-polar, self-esteem issues; Footprints treats each individual with a personalized substance abuse treatment plan, created just for you.

Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.
