It's not the same as it used to be and it's changing for the worse! The new director and managers there are running it into the ground. They are letting go and firing the good employees, the ones who actually care about the patients and hold the patients accountable, while they are terribly understaffed. The main focus is not for the 12 steps or to help the patients stay clean and sober, but to get them on maintenance drugs and to keep them coming back so Gateway can get more money. The ones affected the most are the men, because that's the biggest population, but low staff and a manager who would rather not have them go to outside AA/NA meetings almost daily, like the other populations do, because that's what needs to be practiced to maintain recovery. If you or a loved one needs rehab, go somewhere else where you will actually get help.
