Job Coaching
We assist with professional resume creation. We provide bus passes, identification (if needed), access to job search websites and professional clothing for job searches and interviews. We conduct mock interviews and teach soft skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills job readiness and time management to help them get and keep a job.Nutrition Education
Twice a month our staff nutritionist educates clients on how to lose weight, gain weight or maintain weight based on their individual needs. After our clients have met with the nutritionist, we take them grocery shopping. It’s a chance for them to discover awesome ways to prepare healthy, delicious food.

- Harvey BrownFounderHarvey is the founder and owner of Insight to Recovery; he is a Certified Addiction Professional and prior to Insight to Recovery Harvey worked as a Primary Therapist and Program Coordinator for a Renown Treatment Program both focusing on mental health and substance abuse. Harvey has had an established and respected name in the recovery community professionally and personally for a combined 36 years.
- Julie BrownCo-FounderJulie Brown is the Co-Founder of Insight to Recovery. She has a degree in Family Studies/Community Development and a Minor In Psychology. For a number of years Julie has worked as a Family Service Counselor for the Department of Children and Families. She has gained a wealth of experience working at a Residential Eating Disorder Treatment Program in the Admission Department for 7 years. Julie is a member of her own 12 step program and is actively involved in developing a foundation that provides education, support, and resources to families whose loved ones are struggling with addiction.
