Specialization

  • Use the Colorado Model

Jaywalker Lodge and Solutions Programs have developed a model of care that revolves around what William White, MA referred to as the Recovery Management Model. At its core is community, and the belief that for treatment to be effective, some portion of it must take place in a real life community setting.
  • Experiential Approach

Clients at Jaywalker Lodge are motivated about their recovery; and engage on a daily basis with their peers to create and maintain an active, caring community of sober people. The program combines a rigorous clinical curriculum with a variety of mountain-based activities – the treatment milieu at Jaywalker Lodge is built upon honesty, accountability, and service to others

Strengths: Step 1 and building recovery capital. Weaknesses: Aftercare. This place saved my life after numerous attempts to get sober. Eternally grateful to the staff and the program

Excellent vision, leadership, and staff. Programs for various need and life stages, conscious and innovative program expansion. Our son enrolled in the Solutions Program for aftercare following a 60 day primary care experience at another facility/program in another state. He has often said the first was the reason he got sober and Jaywalker was the reason he stayed sober. The counselors and family program were excellent. After Solutions, Jaywalker helped place him in a sober living home while he continued some outpatient therapy at Jaywalker and participated in supportive alumni activities. I would recommend, and have, Jaywalker to others.

They lie to you coming in about their program and how it works. The program is a mess. I am sober to this day with no thanks to that program at all.
