The program itself was very helpful. It is a 4-6 month program now. You do a morning group at 8:00 am after breakfast, then go to a roll call to be assigned your "job" for the day. I was on the maintenance crew so I would help maintain the grounds. The work was good and helped develop my work ethic. Groups are held throughout the day. After 30 days, you are allowed to attend outside meetings and go on passes. However, only SOME of the staff are helpful/respectful. The medical coordinator is a selfish person who delays doctors appointments and attempts to keep you from going to the hospital. Some of the counselors aren't the best either. They delay your aftercare planning and sometimes don't take your concerns seriously. When it comes to the community itself, it all depends on the group of guys that is at the program. I saw the community change throughout my stay. Overall, it helped me stay clean and allowed me to find myself again.
