135 Colorado St. East, Saint Paul, Minnesota, 55107
Tapestry is a St. Paul, Minnesota based residential treatment facility for women 18 years of age and above struggling with co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency issues. Using 12-Step principles, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, and family programming, Tapestry aims to address each client through a holistic perspective that places an emphasis on the individual as a whole. Rather than approaching sobriety with a one-size-fits-all perspective, Tapestry acknowledges the role of mind, body, and spirit in attaining lasting recovery.

  • Holistic Therapy

Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
  • Individualized Treatment

Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. It is absolutely one of the best treatment centers in the twin cities. If you want it. It really gets into WHY\'S. Why we keep doing whatever it is and expecting different results?? I would recommend this treatment center to anyone that really wants recovery. It will really look into your trauma also. It changed my life dramatically. It has only a few rules that you must follow. And if you cannot follow them, you will not make it in this thing called life anyway.

Well trained counselors and staff. All female center. They Do not allow cell phones and Internet so that you can focus on your recovery! Needs more exercise equipment and opportunities to get fresh air. I was able to completely focus on my treatment without many distractions though I would have enjoyed being able to exercise more often. The food should have been healthier because if you're eating well, you feel well. Limited vegetarian options. Overall, I had a good experience and am two years sober. There was not very many women who were strictly alcoholics, as I was, but I still benefitted greatly.

Counselors were caring and understanding, easy to relate to. The facility was set up in Four different houses with names like Freedom House, etc. This facility was not coed which I found was right for me. The management dismissed a counselor in a low down , unprofessional way in front of the clients. The facility and it's 2 month program was uplifting, a much needed learning experience. I have benefited from this program greartly.
