About Narconon Colorado - A Life Worth Saving

Narconon Colorado – A Life Worth Saving is an extensive program that takes an alternative holistic approach to rehabilitation, using our own unique form of cognitive therapy and physical purification. Narconon® does not utilize traditional treatment methods such as the 12-Step approach. Although the 12-Step approach can work for some people, many addicts report that they do not respond to the 12-Step philosophy. The 12-step approach was developed in the late 1930s by two men, Bill Wilson and Bob Smith and was an answer of sorts, however, it has not proven effective when treating the hard-core chemical addictions of today’s world. The world of the new millennia presents an extremely difficult set of circumstances for the addict; very cheap heroin, extremely potent marijuana, Methamphetamines, powerful and very addictive prescription medications are everywhere and easily obtained. It takes a very thorough approach to shore up the recovering addict against this onslaught, but the good news is that it can be done. Our approach of addressing the addict’s ability to handle life is absolutely necessary, otherwise, he remains a pawn to his impulses and compulsions.

I was losing my wife to her addiction but because of Narconon I got her back. This has been incredibly life changing for us and especially for my wife. Prior to Narconon, I felt I was losing her. Over time, she was becoming a different person, losing her basic self due to her addiction. It was creating an increasingly worsening condition as her addiction had become a substitute for confronting life. Something had to be done about it but there seemed like there wasn\'t any workable solution. But then Jason from Narconon Colorado reached out to me and really listened to my story and my situation. He really cared and understood the nature of the underlying issues. He was with me every step of the way, through tough confusions and anxieties about what to do and how to handle it. He helped me confront the situation and successfully pull off what I initially thought was practically impossible - getting my wife to Narconon and beginning to get real, actual, life-changing help. She then really started confronting and handling the root causes to her addiction. It turns out that addiction is not the root of the problem, it\'s only a \"solution\" to a deeper-rooted problem that isn\'t being confronted, but it creates a trap that one cannot get out of without major help. As she really dug into these basic issues throughout the Narconon program, I could really see my wife transforming back into her basic self, shedding off layers that were not her, and I began to get my wife back! On this journey, Chris from Narconon did an incredible job being there for her and keeping me up to date on her progress. He is truly an amazing, altruistic staff member who has the care and purpose to be there for those going through what can be an unconfrontable condition. And the supervisors and other staff really demonstrated that their purpose is to salvage people who\'ve been ruined by drugs and alcohol. Kay particularly had shown that she really took personal ownership on ensuring my wife got through what she needed to so that she could come out of the darkness shining as her bright self. I am overwhelmed with joy from the result of getting my wife through this program. I had once doubted if I\'d ever get her back, and I\'d often wonder and dream if it could ever happen. I\'m now living that dream and I have to keep pinching myself. She has become the best version of herself, the best I\'ve ever seen, even before her addiction began, and we\'ve been together for 16 years! It brings tears to my eyes to think about how the staff are there making this program possible, and who are the courageous heroes that were there for me and my wife, who helped salvage an artist, a wife, a best friend, a teammate and a beautiful being. I will forever be grateful. Thank you so much for saving her and allowing us to begin a new chapter in our lives.

Addiction is truly one of the strongest forces on this earth which makes it one of the hardest fights you will ever go through whether you are the addict or the loved one of an addict. I had a wonderful family, was a star athlete, had scholarships for college, and had everything going for me. I threw all of it away for drugs. I ended up in jail, overdosing, and endured many traumatic events. Fortunately, my family found Narconon. The program helped me find who I really am, taught me how to effectively handle situations in my life, helped me to get rid of all the guilt and shame I had been carrying around for so long, and most importantly helped me to love myself and life again. If I ever had a problem come up the counselors are there to help you get through it. The staff is very dedicated. The food is amazing. I’m not sure how many rehabs serve lamb chops or prime rib, but they do. I would highly recommend this program if you want a treatment that works. Thank you Narconon for saving my life.

Before October 2018, my life was at an all-time low. I was lost and confused, my family was falling apart and I didn’t know what to do other than drink my life away. Just when I was about to give up, I heard this voice in my head telling me not to give up. So I google searched rehabs and the moment I saw Narconon my life changed. I came here with one goal in mind, I wanted my family back. Since I’ve been here I have regained the ability to think clearly and be able to confront all of my problems in a positive manner. The only place to go is up, I’m ready to be the husband and father my family deserves. I feel the best I’ve felt in a long time and I’m looking forward to what’s next in my life. Thanks to this program I have my life back.

I had been through 4 other rehabs over my 30 year addiction. This program was an entirely different approach. Instead of sitting around telling war stories in group, I flushed out my body in the sauna. Discovered myself and got to the root cause of my addiction playing a victim to my past. I am coming up on 7 years clan and sober were I only would get 28 days clean with the other 4 programs I completed.
