Specialization

  • Individual Therapy

This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.
  • Client & Family Support Groups

Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.

My child attended New Beginnings, he was dismissed after only 3 weeks. The staff is good, and facilities are clean. HOWEVER, the financial side of this operation seems very suspect. The 3 weeks my child was there cost me an absolute fortune. The day rate amount they bill insurance is more than 5X\'s any comparable facility. They debited my checking account for additional funds more after my child left stating it was due and part of the agreement. They also have no way to explain their billing. I have been advised to file a complaint to the LA insurance commission due to the amount they charged to my insurance and my out of pocket cost. If you send your child here, do not allow them to debit any accounts for funds, and make sure what the day rate is they claim to your insurance. Overall, this place seems very suspect financially, especially since they have no way to explain their cost.

This place was awful. I should have looked elsewhere when the guy in admissions kept forgetting to call me back for days at a time. The insurance person didn\'t know anything about how my insurance coverage would work. The counseling was a nightmare. My son\'s counselor was never at work and she never returned my calls or emails. Her supervisor was a very rude man who didn\'t care at all about my son. I didn\'t meet any techs but my son said they were mostly very nice and caring. The nurses were the only ones who returned my calls and gave me honest answers when I would ask how my son\'s day was going, especially this one woman The doctor was able to get his medications well adjusted and I am grateful for that. But I expected more from the counsellor department since that was the reason my son was at their rehab.

New Beginnings taught me how to live again. They showed me a way out from addiction when I had very little hope. Honestly I was completely hopeless. I really connected with the therapist and tech staff. They didn\'t judge me they guided me and shared their own experience. New Beginnings showed me how to Recover from Addiction

I went there and they admitted to us they had a 1 in 10 success rate. The staff disregards the children. The meals were the same thing week by week which caused me to gain 30 pounds. There was promised outings to horse riding ranches and pools, we left campus twice in the 97 days I was there to go to non AA or NA event. We were forced to stay inside for the entire day.
