I wasn't impressed with the counseling and followup. Addicts tend to lie about using, and I felt my husband needed to be called out on the lies, but the counselor never challenged him. He also has been in counseling enough in his life to know how to lie convincingly. Instead of suggesting he use an inpatient rehab facility, they gladly welcomed him and the $ he brought with him. I am pretty sure that is all they wanted, as my husband was never clean.
