This may actually be the worst mental health treatment system I have encountered as an educator, parent, and former advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities. Copays were paid on time, and four months later, even longer depending which part of the statement you read, we receive an astronomical bill. It made no sense and read as though we were beOmg charged for multiple visits on the same day. Interesting that statements can be re-written to reflect dates due to a Prestera error, but never amounts. My son has multiple diagnoses and the psychiatrist spent very little time observing and changed the diagnosis of the intake clinician who was very correct, to something else more reflective of a textbook trend. His staff then rescheduled all future appointments without calling us first. Suggestions for when meds are not a good fit were to admit my child to a psych ward bc the doctor would t be able to see him in a more timely fashion. We don’t have Medicaid and it’s a bummer we were treated so dismissively, but they’re going to want this bill paid in full as the services were some time ago. This is disgusting. Prestera as an organization takes advantage of and preys on people who participate appropriately in their poorly managed system.

I was not the patient but my loved one did not do well with treatment.

Very difficult and frustrating company to receive services from!
