RRR was a wonderful place to work until it sold out to a Senior Care corporation. The nursing director left and they brought in someone whose sole purpose was to wean down the staff to the cheapest essentials. If they deemed you too expensive they either tried to force you out or fired you. There was a massive staff exodus about a year ago. Only a handful of the original & wonderful employees are still there. There are no longer RN's except the director as is required. They are trying to capitalize on mental health funding as well but their clinical department is lacking as they don't have enough staff to effectively treat the number of clients as they should. So, it has become understaffed in many areas, but this is typical for these type of facilities that rely on insurance money to stay afloat. That being said, the chef is fabulous, it is pretty and updated and there are a couple of great people still there.. you can be detoxed effectively but the care after that will be lacking, especially if you require mental health services.

Was overcharged and now person in charge of finances will not even return phone calls. Such a shame when people are working to better their lives and Ripple Ranch overcharged and won't make good or even return phone call.

Ripple Ranch could use a little help. I was under the impression from their web site that they offered a Non 12 step program here. The only Non 12 step activity is an off campus trip to a Zen 12 step meeting. I had to show them other options such as Smart Recovery and Lifering. They have no information on site about either programs. My counselor is the best thing they have here. She listens and understands your personal wants and needs. I was very lucky to get her as my main counselor. There are 2 Tech's here that are great. They are good to talk with and are very helpful. If your into being treated like a kid and enjoy being subjected to profanity then the lead Tech is perfect for you. The house is ok. Shared rooms. I was lucky to have good roommates most of my stay. The food is good and it's a plus to see the family on weekends if you have little ones. Plenty for them to explore and see. If your looking for an alternative to the 12 step program this is not the place yet. I have been told that they are going to start implementing some of the programs I introduced to them. I hope they do for the sake of people like minded as me. Good luck with your sobriety.

Nice house, lots of things to do in your spare time. The techs were not so bad until they would try to get into the drama among the guest. Some times I would get a one on one from my counselor and sometimes I wouldn't. I feel as if favoritism was played a lot. They also promise that your counselor will give you a call after you get out at a week, 30 days, 90 days, then a year. I am still waiting on my call and it has been over a year. I will say that I have not relapsed so something must've gone right.

If you are seeking true recovery, stray away from this place. They bill themselves as a "luxury substance abuse recovery" when in reality, it's just a big house on a lot of property. They bought a residential house and made it a rehab. If luxury equals a twin bed in a shared room, then yeah, its luxury. I had to be detoxed at a separate facility about an hour away after arriving because I didn't meet admission guidelines. This is a residential program ONLY. The "nursing staff" consists mainly of CNAs. The head nurse has a terrible attitude problem as well as a distinct musty odor that is very unpleasant. If you have any issues, don't take them to the Director. The ONLY redeeming quality is the food. The kitchen staff is excellent. Since my stay at Ripple, I have relapsed. After relapsing, I received little support from Ripple. I made my way to another facility and am going on 2 months sober after leaving. Please do your research before signing up for something that appears shiny and pretty. The program itself is pretty awful.
