The duration of addiction treatment programs can vary depending on the individual's needs and circumstances but commonly range from 30 to 90 days.
What is the cost of addiction treatment programs?
The cost of addiction treatment programs can vary depending on the type and length of treatment, but many facilities offer financial assistance and payment plans to help make treatment more affordable. Areas of Specialization
  • Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • Family Program
Research shows that the odds of successful, sustained recovery from addiction are far higher when family members and loved ones are involved in treatment. Drug and alcohol addiction often have genetic roots, whether related to substance abuse, mental illness, or both. Family dynamics also play a role and, often, family members are the first to realize a loved one has developed an addiction. Also, it’s important for family members to understand and embrace the lifestyle changes that are required to sustain recovery.
  • Medical Detoxification
Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
  • Aftercare Support
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Our facility offers aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by planning and making arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.
  • The Rally Point: AAC
Our Tampa Bay addiction treatment facility offers programming that is designed specifically to address the needs of Veterans living with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Programming for First Responders and Professionals
In addition to some of our other specialized programming options, we offer a program dedicated to the treatment and recovery of first responders, as well as one for professionals. The types of challenges that these individuals can face on a daily basis warrant unique, expert care, which our team is honored to provide.
  • Treatment for Grief
Our treatment professionals offer a group dedicated solely to those in recovery who are experiencing grief. Regardless of what stage of grief a patient is in, our program can help them through this difficult time by providing priceless coping skills and support. Groups are held on Tuesdays and Fridays and led by Andrea Marvin, a counselor at River Oaks who developed this curriculum after the untimely losses of her husband and her daughter.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
We are proud to specialize in the provision of dialectical behavior therapy, or DBT. This form of therapy has proven to help those recovering from substance use disorders and/or associated mental health conditions learn how to properly manage their emotions, build tolerance to distressing events, and practice mindfulness as a means of maintaining sobriety. Our mental health professionals offer this evidence-based form of therapy for those who can benefit from it most.
  • Christian Recovery Program
At River Oaks, we provide recovery church, where interested patients can participate in weekly 12-Step programming, as well as christian-based groups and activities. AA and NA meetings are also offered.
