As someone who both went to this facility and then worked for it I can tell you this place is sad just sad. It’s almost like a bad relationship. It promises all these wonderful things like support, understanding, love, family and a functional facility that is there to help you.
LIES!!!!!
I was once a consumer (resident) in the facility three years ago and even then it was under a different director and everything but I had to go even then to the main office when I lived in the sober living house because the house was infested with bed bugs and they did nothing until I threatened to take it to the news. Then fast forward to being an employee thinking things would be better now that it’s new management; WRONG the fact is the whole place is unacceptable, inappropriate, and just for lack of a better word ghetto. They treat consumers like trash and most of the staff either doesn’t want to work, can’t get along with each other, or wants to be inappropriate with the people they are there to help. Honestly how would you feel if you sent your loved one to a facility for help with trauma and addiction to find out a female counselor likes to call her patients “daddy” and visits them at all hours of the night and not in the office oh no at their house!! Or how bout the fact that they let former patients (consumers) stay in the detox room off the books while that said patient gets to come and go and is high every time he comes back. So yeah I could write a book but long and short if given the option please go somewhere else
