About The Freedom Center

The Freedom Center is an intensive outpatient program that treats individuals with various addiction types by offering a flexible and affordable solution while minimizing the disruption of daily life. We understand that residential treatment or an inpatient setting may not be the right fit for those who have school, work or family responsibilities. At The Freedom Center, clients can live at home or in our exclusive sober living environment. During outpatient treatment, clients receive therapy while continuing their daily life interactions. Our goal is to treat all the underlying causes of addiction including trauma and mental health issues.

This place offers promises and hope, however they don’t. I was kicked out because I tested positive for alcohol twice in one week. So riddle me this for the sake of argument if I did drink why did my second urinalysis come back with levels higher than they were the first time. I have a misunderdiagnosed condition called auto brewery syndrome. But they don’t care they don’t care. As I sit here in a motel room relapsing, I know that the Freedom Center did not put a drink in my hand but they played a big part of it.

This place is SHIT. I popped negative twice for alcohol, when I didn’t drink. The second test showed positive for alcohol with higher levels of alcohol. When I first tested positive, I stood strong that I DID NOT DRINK. SO WH IS IT THAT 5 days later I’m exhibiting higher levels of alcohol, which is unlikely since I went back to PHP. They don’t Care, they get the money from you no matter what. They promised me that even Though I was in PHP, that they would make sure that I got my personal belongings from jersey. 6 weeks later, nothing...I wrote a letter to my group saying I may or not be 6 beers and a half pint of Jagermeister in. I suffer from Auto-Brewing Syndrome. I would not recommend this place.

The PHP program housing is like being in jail and the house is gross/not kept up. Patients are literally locked in the house the majority of evenings and weekends. sometimes they\'ll take you to the gym or on a field trip, but most of the time you are locked in the house, bussed back and forth to the center between 10-3:30 for programming. dont let the photos on the website lead you astray; this is not like a normal 28 day rehab. you dont live in a treatment center, you live in the house. the IOP is completely generic - i didnt get anything out of it. finally, the men who run this place are arrogant and care more about their egos than the patient experience. i liked my counselors and the clinical supervisor and thats about it. i would not go back.

I came into the freedom center with little hope and direction, but a desire to change my life. Over the past few years I have attended over 10 treatment facilities but never managed to get the hang of recovery. With the help and guidance from the staff at freedom I was able to slowly build my life back together and return into being a successful member of society. I would recommend this facility to friends and family.
