U-Turn For Christ employs the word of Christ to inspire chemically dependent adults to reassess their lives and produce satisfying, substance-free futures. During the first phase of the program, clients participate in daily chores, morning devotions, evening bible study, community service and evening devotion. During the second phase, select clients are chosen to work as Servants of Christ, and are called upon to serve the ministry for six months or more. Others return to work and pay a monthly donation to the church.

Holistic Therapy
Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

- Daniel BrownDirector of Worship and FacilitiesI have been involved with U-Turn For Christ since my childhood and have been blessed to watch the ministry impact many lives for Christ. Watching my parents, Gerry and Peggy Brown, has allowed me to see the power of Jesus Christ change many lives, and has inspired me to serve the Lord. God has given me a passion for leading worship, teaching His Word, and discipling others to experience a life full of joy from living for the one true and living God. Recently, the Lord blessed me with my beautiful bride, Nubia, who now serves with me, and along side me in the ministry of U-Turn For Christ. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
- Christian NeilsonMissions AdministratorI was first introduced to the ministry U Turn for Christ in 2003 when I went on a Missions Trip to the Mexico Ranch with my friend Pastor Ryan Houssein of CC Sweet Hills. I was single and living in Costa Mesa at the time. Little did I know that by 2006 I would be married and living in Riverside County with our new daughter. We began to attend CC Romoland and soon began to assist in the ministry of U Turn for Christ wherever needed. My wife Zulma and I began to go on all of the Mexico Outreaches with our children Andrea and Josiah. Since the summer of 2012, I have been blessed with the opportunity to lead and oversee the Mexico Missions trips. In Early 2012 the Lord answered our prayers and we were allowed to assist with the opening of a U Turn for Christ in my wife’s hometown in La Bomba, Guatemala. The Lord has also opened the door for me to go to the Philippines three times (so far). I was ordained in 2013 as the Missions Pastor and I’m excited to see what the Lord has planned as He continues to work in my life. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
