I was in my addition for 18 yrs and I was scared to death to come thru those doors at CVH. But with a lot of coaxing from my family I finally walked in. Not knowing what to expect. But I\'m here to say I am SOOO thankful I did. It turned out to be a very kind, loving and welcoming place. No judgements. After all your among others like yourself. They give you the tools you\'ll need to not only get sober but to learn how to love yourself again. I will be celebrating my 2 yrs of sobriety in a couple of days. And I couldnt be happier. So pls if your done with life the way it is...walk thru those doors at CVH. What do you have to loose? Believe in yourself.

I thought very highly of this place, my first stay was helpful. I relapsed and got the guts to go back for help... much worse honestly set me back in life wish I never went back. Second time all they care about is money, not you. I explained I had no insurance said ok, but then when I asked to be released so my bill could be payable in the future refused for “more treatment”. Not true they wanted more money, after I got out I lost my job explained this to the collection dept, no call back or follow up on what they said would do. Instead took $250 dollars out of my account leaving me more broke than I was. The best counselors have left to go to places that want to help you and not just take your money, which if they can’t get they are more than eager to call collections on you and let you know they will. I thought going back was the right thing, admitting I still needed help the right thing, and in the end once I start getting right they don’t care about you just your money.

Before my loved one passed from an Heroin overdose he went to multiple treatment centers in AZ and by far CVH was the best most effective. They medically detox, provide counselors and even do family therapy, family groups which was a huge key factor in his year of sobriety before he died.

I am so thankful to have gone to CVH. The staff, councilors and chaplin’s made such a difference. I highly recommend this place if you are serious about recovery.

I was a patient there recently, I think the small groups and the gender group were the most beneficial to me and the one on one session with my counselor because it gave you an opportunity to talk about your feelings in a small setting I think that was where I had the most growth. I thought all of the counselors Were outstanding, the food was great nice big portions and every meal was outstanding, I thought that the nursing and all of the staff were very attentive to our needs and the cup ceremonies were awesome for the most part. my counselor and she pulled feelings out of me, and gave me great advice that I am still using today. I have 59 days sober today and I live in a sober house that was recommended by
