Vinland National Center - Residential Location

3675 Ihduhapi Road, Loretto, Minnesota, 55357
Vinland is a fully-accredited substance abuse treatment center licensed by the State of Minnesota. We meet the complex needs of individuals with disabilities seeking treatment for drug and alcohol abuse. We understand that past trauma is common for people struggling with addiction, which is why we provide trauma-informed services aimed at reducing triggers and avoiding re-traumatization.

Specialization

  • Holistic Therapy

Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
  • Residential Treatment

Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

psych therapist lied about meeting the next week never had a session with her, counselor lied about me wanting to stay longer causing disruptions with mother, never had a treatment plan or meetings. Big insurance payouts every 7 days. Hst makes fun of clients and are not supportive Peers do all the talking and distracted by inapproiate behavior the whole time. No handouts.

Ya as I really think about this program. The fitness team sent me off feeling wanted. That was amazing. Now the hst techs had a big impact in my life. Upper management never really saw anyotivation from them. Some case managers were awesome other had no motivation or attitude towards there case load. The room 3 to a room was hard to adjust too. The food was average. I'd like to see management involved more... Thanks

Because I needed a place to specifically help me deal with a cognitive impairment while learning how to live a sober life, the slower pace really helped me process everything from assignments to concepts.
