Individual TherapyThis term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.

- Judy Voruz, MA, CADCII, MACFamily CounselorJudy Voruz is a family counselor who has specialized in helping families and individuals struggling with addiction since 1985. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and is an Oregon Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a nationally certified Masters Addiction Counselor. For five years, Judy served as a family counselor at the world-renowned Hazelden/Betty Ford Foundation, where she developed curriculum for their residential family program.
